Responsibilities

The Senior Business Systems Analyst leads and executes the development and deployment of advanced technologies including Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Workflow, API Integration, Cognitive learning, and Artificial Intelligence. This is an advanced position requiring broad technical expertise in a wide variety of technology areas. Responsible for the recommended approach, execution, and deployment of advanced technologies to best support business challenges
• Responsible for the analysis of business challenges and the recommended approach to mitigate these challenges using advanced technologies.
• Responsible for maintaining functional and non-functional specifications designed to meet business requirements
• Formulates and defines scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
• In conjunction with team members, solicits and documents specifications... to assist in the design of solutions based on the existing standards and processes to meet business requirements
• Provides strategic support to the organization in alignment with overall Change Framework and Operating model
• Guides, follows, and influences best practices to ensure scalability and resilience of solutions
• Provides integrated systems analysis and identifies how application/systems could better interact to support business processes
• Liaise with the other Application Developers and Business Users to recommend and deploy technology-enabled solutions that best support their needs with a risk centric mindset
• Configures system settings and has oversight responsibilities for deployed solutions
• Manages projects end-to-end within scope, quality and timeframe allocated
• Identifies and record risks, issues, and dependencies as applicable
• Participates in the support of existing technologies as required
• Helps to drive organizational transformation through influence and passion
• Lead and deliver TED type talks that demonstrate the ‘art of the possible’ both internally and externally

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:
• Is motivated by, and enjoys complex problem-solving scenarios.
• Has broad technical knowledge in addition to significant experience with any programming language including (but not limited to) Visual Basic, C/C++, C#, Java, Python, and R
• Has broad understanding of project management techniques/methodologies
• Possesses an ability to look at a problem holistically
• Has advanced understanding of business and business systems analysis including elicitation, problem analysis, requirements specification, modeling and business process analysis
• Is an expert user of Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word (including the development and deployment of VB Macros)
• Is a Self-thinker and problem solver; always able to work through issues and escalate only when appropriate
• Has some experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using BluePrism or UI Path preferred
• Has some experience with Intelligent Business Process Management tools such as Bizagi or Appian preferred
• Has some experience with the development, deployment, or testing of API’s is preferred
• Possesses some knowledge of Commercial banking applications, processes and business operation
• Experience in an Agile environment preferred

Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of applicable experience in Technology or Mathematics

Advanced Degree and/or Software Certification preferred

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: M-F (8AM – 4:30PM)
