Position Description

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) controller will develop, manage and support the day-to-day execution of automations in the production environment. Integrates, schedules and runs automated processes, ensures stability of the automation environment, investigates any issues with production automations, develops and initiates course corrections, and raises change requests and support calls when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement a strategy to optimize the execution of automations based on the number of licenses and run time environments available.
  • Responsible for daily administration of the production RPA environment corporate-wide, which includes running, monitoring, and scheduling processes.
  • Provide first line investigation into business and system exceptions that occur during the execution of automations.
  • Oversees the collection of data for metrics related to automation performance (number of executions, number of failures, bot utilization, etc.).
  • Track license utilization and forecast future licensing needs.

Experience Level

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University required. Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science, business) preferred. Consideration may be given to candidates with extensive related experience without the academic requirements. Minimum of three years of experience in software development, testing or system administration required. One year of experience working with a major robotic process automation platform preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Solid understanding of process scheduling required. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required. Working knowledge of and experience with agile methodologies required. Experience using Jira preferred. Experience working with a Robotic Process Automation platform preferred. Must be team oriented and possess strong communication skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple priority efforts and ensure that quality assurance standards are followed.
