Position Description

Clifford Chance, Delhi is looking for a dynamic Program Manager to lead and drive one of the key priorities of the office – Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This role will work closely and directly with the General Manager of the Delhi office to help develop and execute the RPA roadmap for the Delhi office and also expand the services across the firm globally. The incumbent will need to be strategic, result oriented and pragmatic – with a willingness to both move fast and persevere as necessary - build credibility for the RPA initiative, be highly resourceful and motivated with ability to influence without authority, give structure to ideas and have strong analytical skills.
The incumbent will work closely with the General Manager, Delhi office to define the RPA strategy for the short, medium and long term – and create plan to operationalize and implement it on the ground.

The incumbent will leverage leadership, process-driven, analytical, technical and value management skills to manage a team that builds and maintains RPA platform, delivers new innovative solutions.

The position will be based in Delhi and there will be limited need for travel as we expand the RPA services to the rest of the firm after successful rollout in the Delhi office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders in executing the RPA platform responsibilities, to develop clear architecture plans, driving towards the appropriate balance of cost, risk and quality, and effectively and consistently communicates this to stakeholders.
  • RPA Platform expansion and maintenance
  • Sets RPA direction, builds consensus, mediates conflicts, and helps to create an environment which solicits positive contributions from all participants, including operations teams, project managers, business analysts, test teams, Information Security Compliance, Business Risk/compliance etc.
  • Proactively identifying and highlighting deviations from the plan along with possible options to fill the gaps and mitigate the impact
  • Collaborate with product vendors to find solution to critical problems and liaise on product enhancements
  • Partner with multiple geographies and functions to create demand and deliver RPA solutions
  • Continuously have an inward and outward view of emerging technologies in the digital space
  • Deep technical proficiency while having the ability to keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and weigh different options, balancing business, cost and technology priorities to determine a best solution.
  • Leadership capability to motivate, inspire and lead a group of automation experts to create and maintain world class automation platform using automation tools like BluePrism, Automation Anywhere and UiPath.

People Management

  • Effectively lead the members of the RPA COE (including third party support)
  • Establish methods for knowledge management and skills enhancement.
  • Responsible for all resources within the respective group, their optimal utilization and professional development.
  • Personnel management and active development of the team to work independently.
  • Translate complex strategic and tactical plans into operational goals for the operations team
  • Establish excellent working relationships with various global and local leadership teams across functions in planning and executing the defined priorities
