Position Description

Our company is expanding the Digital Automation delivery practice and would like to hear from capable Intelligent Automation (RPA, AI) Architects with substantial hands on experience in the key areas below and who are interested in working within a dynamic environment responsible for identifying automation opportunities and designing solutions across a range of technical environments and industries.  


More specifically the role will focus on the following areas: 

  • Lead the architecture, design and build, for Intelligent Automation projects (RPA, AI) 
  • Implement best practice appropriate to the customers enterprise and application architecture  
  • Reengineering of off the shelf products and platform-based development using object-oriented program languages  
  • Champion and govern the adherence to RPA architecture patterns, frameworks, principles, standards and policies 
  • Engaged in pre and post sales engagement activities - including identifying automation pipeline and roadmap
  • Collaborate with the customers Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment of the solution  
  • Integrate RPA into existing business processes and business applications 
  • Stay abreast of intelligent automation technology trends, changing technology landscape, and leads the need for and implementation of innovative technology as well as provides recommendations on technology to discontinue.

Minimum Requirements

About the applicant  

To be successful in the role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:  

  • Sound knowledge and experience with RPA tools, such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath, OpenSpan, Pega, and deep understanding of its technology and architecture 
  • Prior experience leading architecture and design in complex environments
  • Hands on experience of end-to-end development life cycle   
  • Strong understanding of exception handling best practices in an RPA environment 
  • Design and implementation of on-premise or cloud hosted technologies, including HR/DR 
  • Experience on test driven and Agile development methodologies 
  • Expertise in a variety of programming languages including Python, Java, REST API, .NET, VB.NET, C++, SQL, PL/SQL, Java Script, VB Script, etc.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent 
  • 10+ years of industry experience, 5+ years working in the automation domain.
