Drive and Project manage compliance technology work streams including
but not limited to those arising from:
Transaction Filtering
Customer Screening
Trade Finance Screening
Case Management
Lists Management
Systems Testing and Tuning
Systems Inventory & Tech Standards
Data Analytics
Robotics Process Automation
Management Information and Reporting
Specific tasks will include (but not limited to):
Own the full project initiatives and BAU in the above streams end to end
Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives
Prepare/Co-ordinate detailed project plan for all phases of the project
Manage the day-to-day project, BAU activities, including project
management working group and steering committees
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
Coordination between global, regional and local stakeholders including subject matter experts, in-country and regional heads of
compliance, head office teams in both Tokyo and New York, various technology teams
Regular communications with above stakeholders to collect business/user requirements, execute project surveys, build consensus on competing priorities, resolve conflicts, obtain buy-in on project timelines, UAT and Go-Live dates
Working with above stakeholders to conduct systems feasibility studies, liaison with vendors, UATs, training etc.
Capture, document and address both local and regional regulatory intricacies
Plan, arrange and conduct meetings/teleconferences as necessary to drive sanctions technology work streams (note: occasional late night/early morning calls with New York colleagues can be expected)
Strict adherence to project deadlines, including tracking of project statuses, identifying and logging of issues for escalation in a timely manner
Generating and distribution of weekly/monthly project updates for reporting to the Head of Sanctions and other senior management as necessary
Assist in any other ad-hoc systems related work as assigned by the Head of Sanctions from time to time

Minimum Requirements
Job Requirements:
Project management experience a must
Experience in VBA Macro, data analytics tools - Python, R and exposure to SQL is MUST.
Proven track record in leading or at least playing an active/first-hand role in implementing sanctions solutions regionally/globally
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Excellent time management and strong discipline in keeping to project milestones
Experience in conflict resolution, consensus building and management of competing priorities
Well organised and disciplined in maintaining project documentation
Confident and comfortable in dealing with senior management/stakeholders
Ability to work flexible hours from time to time due to time zone differences
Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time
